Handy and Trouble free

Review: I have two very positive experiences with Tesco shopping on line; my own experience and that of my employer. Me I have been shopping on line with Tesco now for four years. I began when my daughter became seriously ill and I was pretty much house bound with her. It takes a while the first time, but if you used a Clubcard in store, your frequently purchased items will already be on it and you can opt to spend your Clubcard vouchers on line in future. After this, your previously purchased items will always be available for view, under ‘My Favourites’, and you can shop from here in 10 - 20 minutes flat for a full shop. The items are clearly described and there is an option of seeing a photo of the item (which you can enlarge to have a better look) or not. Also, by opening a separate window with one click, you can read the full nutritional content of the item you are purchasing. In short it is just like reading the goods label in the store! Once you have gone through check out, if you find you have forgotten something, it is easy to log back in and alter your order…an e-mail is always sent to confirm the alterations and what you have ordered will be sent to you on a list. Even though my daughter is now well again and I could shop…I stick to shopping on line as it gives me the whole morning off! All I have to do now is wait in for the two hour slot I have chosen (this can be anytime from 9am up to 11pm, Monday to Saturday) and when the driver (who is always cheerful) pops in with my shopping, I just unpack and put away. If a product is not available, they often substitute an item for you. However, if you don’t want the sub, or anything else you ordered for that matter, you give it back to the driver and he deducts if from your bill and get a full refund. Very occasionally, the wrong item may be sent, or something gets missed off, again, call Tesco and they will arrange to have it sent to you, or deduct it from your bill. My Employer Is completely housebound as she is disabled. She shops on line with Tesco and chooses the two hours slot that I am with her and I put it away for her. It allows her to experience shopping as though she were actually in store. She can leisurely peruse new products as well as buy her old favourites. For her, this gives her a degree of independence, she otherwise, would not have. What could be easier!!!! I highly recommend shopping on line with Tesco

Review: Whenever payday come, which is usually a Friday I dread having to race around the aisles like a contestant on Supermarket Sweep. I thought I needed to take the hassle out of shopping, so I signed up online for it. It is very handy for people who tend to impluse buy. You type in what you need and it it literally like a search engine and it will find all types of bread, milk etc. You even see how much the items are as you add them to the basket. Also, when you have gone to the check out it saves the items you have brought and you only have to click on the item to add it to your basket. Another thing I find helpful is having to just step into the kitchen and having a look at what we are short on and just sit back at the computer and add it to the list! That is alot better looking like you are in a trance in the aisles trying to remember what you need! I highly recommend it, especially if you are a non-driver and with Christmas coming up!
